Panama’s School Reconstruction Programme Creates Workforce Demand

On 4 November, the Education Ministry reiterated its target to rebuild 85 severely damaged schools before the March 2027 academic year. The programme is expected to require construction, engineering, maintenance and safety personnel, although no verified employment total or payroll budget was announced.
